Capt John 12 Hour Offshore Wednesday June 29, 2016

This 12 hour offshore fishing trip by the party boat Capt. John was headed up by Captain Johnny Williams. He took the 57 fishermen aboard to bottom spots off to the south of the island. There the squid and sardine baits had a multi-species catch trying to take the presentations…. and ending up on the deck.

The vast majority of the catch was taken from the mid-depths to the bottom, the kingfish and spadefish were active near the surface.

Iced down for the trip back to Galveston’s Pier 19 were:

114 Red snapper

1 Vermillion snapper

1 Lane snapper

1 Rockhind grouper

1 Atlantic spadefish

2 Kingfish
