Capt John 12 Hour Offshore Friday July 1, 2016

The party boat Capt. John’s 12 hour offshore fishing trip today was run with Captain Johnny Williams at the wheel. He took 83 anglers to an area about fifty miles to the south southwest of the island where they fished over bottom structure in 110 feet of water. The anticipated red snapper, as has been the usual were there and biting. Not only was a red snapper limit to 16 pounds taken but also a few other species bring todays total catch to the following:

166 Red snapper to 16#

3 Lane snapper

7 Vermillion snapper

5 Kingfish

4 Sharpnose shark
