Capt. John 12 Hour Offshore Monday June 27, 2016

The 80 anglers aboard the party boat Capt. John today were taken to the area about fifty miles to the east of the island for todays fishing. Captain Johnny Williams had them working their baits of cut squid or whole sardines over natural bottom structure in 100 feet of water.

The fishermen and their baits, which were worked close to the bottom for the most part, had two species of bottom locals taking their offerings. Several kingfish were taken on freelined sardines. Todays total catch species and numbers:

160 Red snapper to 13#

2 Lane snapper

14 Kingfish

See you on the Capt. John!
