Capt. John 4 Hour Bay Trip—Saturday Oct. 17, 2015

Two four hour bay/jetty fishing trips were run today by the party boat Capt. John. The morning trip with 80 fishermen aboard was run with Captain Johnny Williams in the drivers seat. He took them to the area of the North jetty boat cut for a catch of the below:

  • 10 bull redfish
  • 10 bonnethead shark
  • 2 stingray
  • 2 whiting
  • 3 gafftop

The afternoon trip also on the Capt. John was headed up by Captain Jillian Williams. She also took her 42 fishermen to the area of the North jetty boat cut. Hitting the usual baits, squid fished at or near the bottom, was this catch:

  • 8 bull redfish
  • 7 bonnethead shark
  • 6 gafftop
  • 1 Florida pompano
  • 1 whiting
  • 1 stingray

The Capt. John didn’t go offshore today on its usual 10 hour trip because of rough conditions out there.
