Capt John 12 Hour Offshore Friday June 10, 2016

Captain Johnny Williams strikes again! That is, he put the anglers on the party boat Capt. John on another nice red snapper limit. He had the 80 anglers fishing over natural bottom about 60 miles to the south southwest of the island in 110″ of water. The result was about red snapper limit to 21 pounds.

After the red snapper limit was caught an inshore move was made to the area of the old Buccaneer fields platform remains. This structure in 70′ of water had an assortment of species being taken including kingfish and spadefish.

After the Buccaneer field stop next on the agenda was Pier 19 where this iced down catch was unloaded:

160 Red snapper to 21#

5 Gulf trout

2 Kingfish

2 Grunt

3 Atlantic spadefish

1 Mangrove snapper

1 Vermillion snapper

Angel Sanchez, Ft Worth, Her red snapper limit included the days heaviest one, a 21 pounder.

Jim Marigliano, Dallas, Had one of the kingfish at “Buccaneer” and a red snapper to 11#.
