Capt. John 10 Hour Offshore—Sunday Oct. 4, 2015
Captain Johnny Williams was at the wheel again as the party boat Capt. John left Pier 19 with 75 fishermen aboard. As has been the norm lately, the fishing on this 10 hour trip was done by surface platforms. The four fished today were off to the southeast and south southeast of the island to about 15 miles out. An added stop was made just off the south end of the south jetty on the way home anticipating a possible bull redfish bite.
Todays total catch, which was taken on cut squid or whole spanish sardines fished from near the surface to the bottom, was made up of the following:
- 190 Atlantic spadefish
- 20 bonnethead shark
- 10 whiting
- 1 bull redfish
- 8 gulf trout
- 5 bluefish
- 4 spanish mackerel
See you on the Capt. John!
