Capt. John 10 Hour Offshore Private Charter Friday June 24,2016

Wholesale Electric Company of Texas City  had a charter group of 52 anglers aboard the party boat Capt. John today. The charter group was headed up by Rudy Garcia and Captain Johnny Williams had them all headed in the right direction for a nice red snapper limit.

The direction chosen was south of the island about forty-five miles. Stops there, in 110 feet of blue gulf water, had the red ones eager to join the folks on the deck. 104 red snapper to 15 pounds made the trip up after trying to eat squid or sardine baits presented to them. Most strikes come at or near the bottom, a pair of the exceptions were the two kingfish that were also caught.
