Capt John 12 Hour Offshore Wednesday June 15, 2016

Todays 78 anglers aboard the party boat Capt. John were again taken to the red snapper productive area about 25 miles to the south of the island. Captain Johnny Williams fishing over old production platforms remains in 70 feet of water.

Using the standard party boat baits of cut squid or Spanish sardines they wound in a red snapper limit and a few “others.”

Catch species and totals were made up of :

156 red snapper to 13#

1 kingfish

1 Atlantic sharpnose shark

1 bluefish

With the red snapper fishery to be open for only about another four weeks this year it’s time to make your reservations now before it’s all over until next year.
