Capt John 12 Hour Offshore Tuesday June 14, 2016

Captain Johnny Williams had the 81 anglers aboard the party boat Capt. John fishing the old Buccaneer Field area today. These old, submerged platform remains are located about 27 miles to the south of the island in 70′ of water.

The red snapper were there, hitting baits of cut squid or whole sardines. Most were taken from at or near the bottom, several Atlantic spadefish were caught on small cut pieces of squid.

The days total catch was:

162 Red snapper to 13#

10 Atlantic spadefish
