Capt John 12 Hour Offshore Sunday July 10, 2016

Captain Johnny Williams was at it again today, putting his guests on another red snapper limit catch on the party boat Capt. John.

The 82 anglers had their baits of cut squid or Spanish sardines being evaluated by the red snapper population at a couple of natural bottom areas. Those spots chosen by Captain Williams were in the range of fifty miles to the south of the island in 100 feet of blue gulf water. As is the norm, the baits evaluated was done from the mid-depths to at or near the bottom, they were approved by the locals down there. All of that baiting and biting resulted in a boat red snapper limit of 164 that went to around 15 pounds.

To maintain the reports norm heres the catch total list:

164 Red snapper (boat limit for 82) to 15#

Don’t forget, and miss out, the last day this year that the red snapper fishery is open in federal waters is this coming Saturday. Call the office and get on the boat.

See you on the Capt. John!
