Capt John 12 Hour Offshore Saturday June 4, 2016

For today’s 12 hour offshore trip by the party boat Capt. John the 65 anglers were taken about 30 miles to the south southeast of the island. Captain Johnny Williams had them fishing over natural bottom at several spots and a production platform. The baits of cut squid and or Spanish sardines, fished thru the water column, produced another red snapper limit for the boat. The red snapper limit went to 14#, a ling, 2 kingfish and a bluefish.

The recreational red snapper fishery’s start in federal waters is off to a great start on the Capt. John.
